Aye, that's what I thought.
Reading that, it seemed to bring out the idea that, he knows what everyone in the West thinks of him, and knows how the West see themselves - but he's making the argument that this is in a sense evil v evil, rather than ye olde good versus evil.

The difference is is that he and his small band are devoted to eraidcating ANYONE from this world who don't agree with him. The thing is, all the what seems to be 'over the top' use of 'Allah' to you, normal Westeners, isn't.
