Okay;

- Moderate Arabs will have some justification for optimism that things will be better under Kerry. therefore the Iranian hardline clergy will not get big gains in the Iranian election. Meaning that the current status quo is maintained, rather than the headlong rush into confrontation we have to look forward too.

- Last time a democrat was president, the trade deficits were wiped out. Kerry would almost certainly do the same.
