Scans from PC Gamer (Februrary) on AoE III.
Yay!
Looks very nice. Hopefully it'll be better than AoM too.

I see your friend didn't know about trebuchets?

Yeah, that always used to happen to me too. It sucked for 4 on 4 matches. One time, I dis-connected but somehow when I re-connected I was still in the game!
And Zone works fine for me.

You could send Arbiters (is that right?) out on their own and they would be fine, but you would need about 50... I prefer sending out many monks to convert everything in sight.
It runs fine though.
Also the fact my computer had 500Mhz CPU, 128mb RAM, and god knows what graphics card.

You don't send them in on their own.
Paladins and Champions surrounding them = invincible.
Ah, I remember the time I was playing my mate over the net, and he sent in his entire army to try and wipe me out, I rang the bell and all my villagers ran away into the town hall and my castles, and I slowly wiped them out.
Then I brought my 100-strong Paladin army oyut of hiding and assaulted him.
We never finished the game though, as my net connection disconnects after 2 hours.
:-(
Damn 56gay.
Whens it out?
Should have a brand spanking new PC for this soon, yay. I always seem to get a new PC just before the release of a AOE game.
Easily wiped out by horsies :)
They fired 3 arrows for every arrow fired by other archers, and once you've got all the blacksmith upgrades, that = rawk!

And rightly so, it's basically just "who can build untis the quickest and get the other killed with minimal villagers required.
Random battle is much much better.
