Time to see if Eric Bana really can pull off Bond.
He can certainly play a convincing action lead, and he's British.

I remember when Jude Law and Hugh Jackman were tipped as the next Bond...hahahahahaha. Oh how I laughed
P.S. Wouldn't Christian Bale make a good Bond, even tho he never will because hes Batman

Brosnan's signed up for a final fifth, isn't he?
Clive Owen would be a good choice for the next one if he learns to loosen up a bit. As it is he's far too cold and wooden.

There's nothing wrong with Pierce Brosnan as Bond. In fact, excluding Sean Connery, I'd say he was the best one. Day Another Day just gave him nothing to work with.
GoldenEye is probably the best Bond film (rivalled perhaps by the likes of Goldfinger) and one of the most enjoyable action movies I've seen. Even in the lacklustre Tomorrow Never Dies and enjoyable-but-not-great World is not Enough, he nails the suave personality and professionalism.
He wasn't a good Bond in Die Another Day because it just wasn't done like any other Bond film. The direction was all wrong.

Eh?
Although he had incredibly little to work with in such a cliched role, I really was surprised at how little he stood out for such a worthy actor.
You put any other competent American actor in his place and they'd have done just the same.
I think he'd be excellent in the role.
understand?
oh the irony
:)
