Rare are Ninty only. PS fans should thank Rare cause without them there would be no crash, Timespitters or Tekken at that matter

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are there for profit, what chance does Rare have starting a console now, they are solely a games developing company and as the market is going through a very volatile patch.

Rare could choose to develop a console, Rare aren't a strong financial company, there main HQ is based in Britain and not Japan, they just wouldn't have the backing and at this time any company considering taking the plunge would love to have held onto the diving board and struggled back to the top, that is why we saw Nintendo considering holding back the GC, they were making the neccessary profit in the GameBoy line that they could afford to take this course of action.

Maybe if 10 years ago Rare had wanted to release a console I don't think it would have done to badly, the market was carm, it was collective and Rare would have stood a better chance in the hardware industry.

As the old saying goes. 'stick to what you are good at'. and thats just what Rare are doing!!

Rare are Gods but they work best with Nintendo.
There's no reason or point in them making their own console.

Buy a PC?
Why don't Rare make PC Games? They probably couldn't compete anyway, MWAHAHAHAHAAA. Yeah, that's not really true of course because of the range of quality of games for the PC (from "What is a Game?" to "Game seems like an insult to this piece of pure perfection").

Rare aren't Gods. There's also no need to fall in love with them, as many of you are.

Rare games don't particurlarly appeal to me, and I prefer Konami by far.

If they made their own console??? Well, you know what I think....

I think Rare should stick to just making games. Its what they're best at. Thats like saying Konami should make a console cause of Metal Gear Solid 2.

Companies like Rare are best where they are now, supporting consoles rather than making them.

The reason why Rare are good is the fact they spend along time on a game. Whent they want games made to help there christmas sales then they could rush it. Not good. as a 2nd paty developer for the greatest company ever they can spend as long as they like.
