An example of this is Eminem. Lose Yourself and Cleaning out my Closet sucked, he released that Superman song and he rules again, then he appeared with D12 on My Band and became the artist I loathed probably the most.
His new song however, rules..
Kinda pointless topic this is come to think of it, I didn't really leave much to debate.. ah well new Eminem rules, any other new songs by inconsistent artists you can recommend that rock the casbah?
At the moment I'm re-listening to 'Stimulate'. I like.
That's a link to the video for Eminem's new single 'Mosh' if anyone's intrested.
It's excellent me thinks the more serious and political approach he's gonna be taking on 'Encore'.
> I thought I might have been for a moment there
no i checked my "legal copy" you are correct
EDIT - To tilta
Good video - just downloading it off Suprnova now as I can't be bothered streaming every time I want to watch it!
> Asher - you've got Eminem the wrong way around. Lose Myself and COMC

Nah it's just about opinions. To me rap is just fun music, which is why I love people like Method Man and Slick Rick who don't really have anything of any importance to say (besides Slick Rick's Hey Young World and Two Way Street). They just rap, and make it sound original and cool, like the way Method Man just flows and sings and says really random but funny things (Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, hey, the method man!) in songs like M.E.T.H.O.D. Man.
Cleaning out my Closet was awful, I think music with much more of a message should be sung, that way you feel it more. Rap is just fun as far as I see, the only meaningful rappers I like are ones like Common Sense.
Only my opinions btw, I know lots of people will argue that the fiery aggression in Lose Yourself is equal if not better to something being sung.
