I already know that ps2 has better controls in specific games, like the tony hawk's series, metal gear games, etc... What I'm asking about here is the visuals. I need to know whether multiformat games are going to look better on GC or PS2. And please I don't want anybody to tell me to get either a ps2, or a gc for some other reason, because I already got both, and I want to know for which one should I buy the multiformat games.

I withdraw my comments.

Just too hilarious.

Give him the full facts. It can be played with a standard controller. It can only be played multiplayer, as in 2-4 players, with a Game Boy Advance per player.

Better on GC -oh yes.

Isn't on he GC so you'll have to get it on the PS2 if you want it. It's rubbish compared to hitman 2, though.

> 3- Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Go for whichever controller you prefer. The GC does have shorter loading times though - somthing which every decend GC port will have. So if you can't decide, that's a good reason. Madden 2005's loading times on the GC are ½ of what they are on the PS2, and it doesn't crash!

Don't be stupid - they're not all the same are they?

> 5- Any Square-Enix game

Well there's only one Square game on the GC and you need a GBA to play it. So make up your mind yourself.

Overall I'd say that the GC covnersions have less chance of crashing, shorter loading times and, for me, they have a better controller. Apart from that you can choose whatever you want.

And since when was Halo the only good game on the Xbox? And since when was Metroid Prime/Eternal Darkness/Resident Evil 0-4 cartoony or 'child-looking'?

Close your tags if you're going to use them. Shoddy amateur use of them is only going to cause problems.

Giving away notable status eh? Hmmm...you must really be bad in that case if they haven't given it away to you.

You can't complain, you walked right into that!

As for reading what I quoted. You mentioned:

You suggested that cartoon games that aren't cel-shaded (spell it right in future) are child games. I merely pointed out one that isn't.

I guess they're giving away internet access to anyone these days...

Now I am really confused here, so I'll try to ask the original question differently:
If anybody has ever played any of the following games on both a ps2 and a gc then tell me which did you enjoy more: (These are the games that I'm going to buy for the time being)
1- Soul Calibur 2
2- Hitman:Contracts
3- Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
4- Any Konami game
5- Any Square-Enix game

I've never payed particular attention to GTA games, not my style.

And it is relevant, dullard, unless you have the mental capacity of Craig Bellamy.

Plus you'd have had to live under a rock for past few years to have not even seen a screenshot of GTA

Saying you never bought GTA is still irrelevant, dullard.
He's saying that GTA looks cartoony but the content is far from childish. Which is a perfectly relevant comment to make.
