Has anyone noticed that MGS1 was supposed to take place this year ? Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake took place in 1999, if you haven't played it you can read "Previous Missions", and in MGS1 after the Ninja Boss fight Snake said that he fought Gray Fox on a minefield in Zanzibar 6 years ago, which means that MGS1 took place this year !!!

No. MGS1 story was better, but The Twin Snakes had a really bad impact on me. MGS2 didn't have a story as good as mgs1, but yet it's an independant game so it doesn't affect MGS1, while The Twin Snakes subotages MGS1 completely. I wish they never made it.
And your saying MGS2's story wasn't pap? Ahahaha
The Snake Eater video was an eye opener.

I didn't say anything about 1. MGS1 is the best up until now, and non of the other ones can touch it. I was talking about The Twin Snakes. The Twin Snakes isn't Metal Gear Solid remade, it's Metal Gear Solid deformed. It completely subotages the beutiful image that Hideo Kojima has created in the original game. Every bit of The Twin Snakes felt irritating and hateful. The guy who directed the cutscenes in it is a completely immature person. He deserves to be shot in a public square. I even wish he had left things to take place the way they did with adding the farfetched bits, but no . He changed everything completely making a completely ugly image of one of the greatest games of all time.
