Has anyone noticed that MGS1 was supposed to take place this year ? Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake took place in 1999, if you haven't played it you can read "Previous Missions", and in MGS1 after the Ninja Boss fight Snake said that he fought Gray Fox on a minefield in Zanzibar 6 years ago, which means that MGS1 took place this year !!!

Ohh God, why does everybody insist that it's Metal Gear Solid 2 ? It's 1999 + 6, because Metal Gear 2 took place before Metal Gear Solid.

No, you still don't understand. Everybody thinks that I am talking about Metal Gear Solid 2, the game which was released in 2001. No, that's not it. I am talking about Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake that was released in 1990 , meaning that it was released Before Metal Gear Solid 1. So naturally it takes place before MGS1 (1998), and MGS2(2001) has nothing to do with it, and I didn't talk about it in the first place.

No, it's 2005-6 = 1999, not the other way around.

Just finished The Twin Snakes, and I'm going to play the original followed by MGS2 just before Snake Eater is released.
