No, don't report me to the games police just yet.
Sometimes I think, should I still be playing games at my age? Well, the thing is, yes!
You see, my generation was were it really started to kick off. We were the ones who had the first taste of what laid the foundations for the consoles of today.
The Nintendo Entertainment System, the Sega Master System. We played Sonic and Mario when the mere thought of Sony enjoying the success they do now would have been laughed off as being ridiculous.
The original GameBoy is now transformed into the Nintendo DS. And Sony have an amazing handheld console coming out too. Who would have thought?
I can't see my enjoyment of games ending though. I mean, why should it?! I don't have to listen to Radio 2 or drive a sensible car. And I'm not going to.
18 rated games weren't needed (or wanted) when I was young and yet the Grand Theft Auto series are now one of the most successful titles ever released.
So play. Play lots. And forget about thinking whether you should be doing it anymore.
In the meantime, I'll be waiting for my Nintendo DS and copy of Mario 64 DS to arrive. And yes I will be running to the door like a child when the postman comes....
This is a pointless argument, I'm not even gonna get started.
He didn't say the original Gameboy has transformed into the DS WHICH IS THE NEW GAMEBOY!
> The original GameBoy is now transformed into the Nintendo DS
Gah!
Just because it is a handheld doesn't make it the next Gameboy.
Just because Pokemon mini is a handheld doesn't make it a Gameboy.
The next Gameboy will be a Gameboy.
But I guess without the Gameboy the DS wouldn't have as many features as it does. GB and DS linked games are always a nice possibility.
Well, it is Nintendo's newest handheld, hence an evolutionary step from their original one, the GameBoy.
Or will he try to convince me that actually it's the latest 'Game & Watch'?
:)
Ooh. Dringo'll have your ass for that.
Literally.
Well, not clone as such, but you know.
