I'm not talking about pretending to like albums that were around before you were born (yes, I'm sure you always loved Scott Walker, whatever), I'm talking about the albums you used to listen to when you were a kid and haven't put on in ages.

Thanks to my PC and its hefty hard drive, I've now copied all my CDs back to my playlist and have rediscovered some classics I all but forgot.

Reef - Glow (brilliant frankly, singer sounds like he lives on Bovril)
Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals (some excellent singles on here)
Supergrass - I Should Coco (still maintain this is one of the best debut albums ever)
The Charlatans - Tellin' Stories (never really stopped listening to this to be honest)
Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters (best of all their albums)
Embrace - The Good Will Out (cracking)

Ah, I remember the days when indie music was good.

Oh, how could you miss The Bends?

And Oasis/Blur/Pulp?

For some reason I'm embarrased to admit I have that Ocean Colour Scene album.

Why?

It's an out and out travesty that 'Definitely Maybe' isn't in that list.

First two albums I ever got were Blur - "The Great Escape", and Pulp (non-Shatner version) - "Common People", and I still listen to them every now and again.

Some more 90's classics:

Paul Weller - "Stanley Road"
The Stone Roses - "The Stone Roses" & "The Second Coming"
Manic Street Preachers - "Holy Bible"
Cast - "Alright"
