I'm not talking about pretending to like albums that were around before you were born (yes, I'm sure you always loved Scott Walker, whatever), I'm talking about the albums you used to listen to when you were a kid and haven't put on in ages.

Thanks to my PC and its hefty hard drive, I've now copied all my CDs back to my playlist and have rediscovered some classics I all but forgot.

Reef - Glow (brilliant frankly, singer sounds like he lives on Bovril)
Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals (some excellent singles on here)
Supergrass - I Should Coco (still maintain this is one of the best debut albums ever)
The Charlatans - Tellin' Stories (never really stopped listening to this to be honest)
Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters (best of all their albums)
Embrace - The Good Will Out (cracking)

Ah, I remember the days when indie music was good.

I guess my albums of yesteryear would be:

Oasis - Definately Maybe, Morning Glory
Blur - Great Escape, Blur
Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour and Past Masters 2 mainly, but all of them really.

Cast - All Change

Sort of what I was listening to about 5-8 years ago.

As ancient as the likes of Sly Stone, Love and Bob Dylan are, they're still fairly new to me. So that's the music of "now". :-)

Hi Infidelity by REO Speedwagon. I currently have it in my car.

Yeah, play that m_m.

Never speak ill of the Foo.

Their first album was amazing, especially when you consider it was all done by one guy. I'd say I prefer TCATS, but some of the self-titled songs are classic.

Can't really think of any albums, but I-Spy is a long-forgotten classic in my eyes.

Well come on, none of their other albums were any good! Besides maybe 'The Colour and The Shape', but still.

Fair choice

Yeah, but I still listen to that all the time. I'm talking about stuff you forgot that you loved.

Heh, that used to be one of my party pieces! A bit long for what we're doing though - don't want the crowd to lose interest. I think Daybreak would be pretty good for it though.
