I'm not talking about pretending to like albums that were around before you were born (yes, I'm sure you always loved Scott Walker, whatever), I'm talking about the albums you used to listen to when you were a kid and haven't put on in ages.

Thanks to my PC and its hefty hard drive, I've now copied all my CDs back to my playlist and have rediscovered some classics I all but forgot.

Reef - Glow (brilliant frankly, singer sounds like he lives on Bovril)
Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals (some excellent singles on here)
Supergrass - I Should Coco (still maintain this is one of the best debut albums ever)
The Charlatans - Tellin' Stories (never really stopped listening to this to be honest)
Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters (best of all their albums)
Embrace - The Good Will Out (cracking)

Ah, I remember the days when indie music was good.

If you've got an interest in doing something by the Chili Peppers, have you heard 'Show Me Your Soul'?

It's been a personal favourtie of mine since I first heard it. Not something you would come to expect from this band, but it's still a Chili Peppers song all the same.

'If You Have To Ask' would be another song of theirs I'd like to reccomend. Not only does it have quite a laid-back, funky sound to it, but, one thing I'd love about it if I was in a band (especially as a guitarist), is that, when going live, you can really make the end your own (just like John Frusciante and Flea seem to do, especially).

Good shut up and delete the first 2 you mentioned from history while you're at it.

Agreed they are dull now, however they are not 'very very dull'. :P

I heard it all in 1996 or whenever they were big.

Automatic for the People.

Find the River is still one of my most favourite songs ever.

Aside from Prodigy and the Beatles everything mentioned is quite mediocre and very very dull.
