This film has just had a 20 minute preview screening at the Venice Film Festival. Ive just read a persons review of it on www.ff7ac.net and it is sounding very good indeed. I hope they decide to release this at the cinema, it deserves the recognition. From what Ive read it wont disappoint FF fans, summons are in it for a start!

It had a standing ovation when it finished in the preview, so that must count for something...

Its a surprise no-ones even mentioned the fact whether or not Cait Sith is going to be in the film. Hes the only one left from the original gang who isnt in it yet. Do u think they will put him in?

Bloody amazing news.

I made a topic on your behalf in the Sony forum. Sorru.

I wonder if that means the GC game they announced is going to be something different again (easy, my peni) or this.

They will probably remake final fantasy 7 with graphics like advent children by then. The only thing they shouldnt mess with is the awesome soundtrack, however they should update them to the live orchestra versions!

But you can download games from 20 years ago in an instant. Our kids will be playing the original on their pentium 6 11Ghz PC's thinking they are cool with their "retro" games. I dount it'll be remade but you never know.

I think FF7 will get remade, despite this sequel coming.

Maybe in 10 years maybe 20 years when your replaced by your childrens generation and Square want to bring it out again to a whole new generation. Unfortunately games arent like books or movies, they have a very limited lifespan which is why I cant go into a shop and buy FFVII yet have no problem buying a film that came out 50 years ago.
