A friend of mine is having problems with Internet Explorer.

Whenever it's opened it says "Microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience. if you were in the middle of something the information you were working on might be lost"

And it gives the options to "restart IE" or "Tell Microsoft about this problem"

Anyone have an idea how they can sort it out?

Give me a shout here of msn if you can help.

She says "thanks"

Same effect though eh.

It just easier to let her d/l it again that explain, really.

But it's the most convenient, and easy, way.

Oh well, some people. Just tell her to download it again, wasting more time.

I was converted to Firefox about 6 months ago by a few ppl at school. I love it now. Not quite sure why, I just find it....nice? Lol. And tabbed browsing is useful.

I did that a few days ago - she wants IE so her mum can use the tab feature on yahoo chat. Some people are just so f**ing picky it kills me inside - but she's got a friendly chest so i'm helping her.

Right... it's gone now... tell her to go back to Add Remove Programs as before, but instead of unticking the box, TICK it again, saving all changes.
