Who stay away from home.

How expensive is it exactly?
Do you have a part time job etc

My plan for next year is to move into the 'Student Villiage' in the centre of Glasgow. It's like £75 a week or something. But, if I save up my loan for the next year and my wages and can still come home to work at weekends I could afford it I think.

Since the place I'm staying is next to the station and my work is next to a station it'll only take me about 45 minutes to get to work.

Waheh, I get to be a real student... next year.

you could use your loan to purchase an automobile, then drive there.

Yeah, getting up that early would pish me off too. The earliest i would have to get up would be about 7:30. Thought i remember a whole semester of getting up at 7:30 and finishing at 17:30, it was almost like having a job.

Yeah, that my mum needs during the day.

Grrrr, though I won't need to walk to station this year. So that's up at 7am then.

Oh, and I had to carry my work clothes in my back and get changed in a toilet.

My average first year day:

Up at 6:30
Leave house at 7:30 to get 8:00am express train.
Subway at 8:40am
Run to lecture at 9am

Had hour gaps between lectures so couldn't do much
Finished at 2pm
Same journey back home.
Started work at 3:30pm and finished at 9pm

And did more work at the weekend.

seriously mate its well worth the debts. Being in the centre of the action is brilliant, being at home will just pisss you off after you experience it.

I couldnt afford to stay away from home, and now that i have a job i couldnt do it even if i wanted. It pays too much to quit.

I know your experience will probably be nothing like mine, but I can't remember any part of my time at Uni being that enjoyable after the first year.

I was just glad to finish.
