Who stay away from home.

How expensive is it exactly?
Do you have a part time job etc

My plan for next year is to move into the 'Student Villiage' in the centre of Glasgow. It's like £75 a week or something. But, if I save up my loan for the next year and my wages and can still come home to work at weekends I could afford it I think.

Since the place I'm staying is next to the station and my work is next to a station it'll only take me about 45 minutes to get to work.

Waheh, I get to be a real student... next year.

I do it differently, I don't work during uni/school time, but I get a full time job over the summer which covers for it.

I've done it a few times now.

sub human scum.

almost as bad as those people who spend 8 hours a day pushing a pen about and then say "ooh, I'm knackered".

oh, wait, that's the sort of job I'm after.

Most of the money is my own!

They pay the tuition fees (£1250) and give me £100 a month which doesn't last long at all, and compared to some people this is nothing, I know of people getting £75 a week!

I've still got the loan to help me and my own money that I've earned, although I was about £500 into my overdraft at the end of last year so I'll have to subtract that from the total.

A lot of people get financial help from their parents, I'm getting about £2000 a year probably, it's only because they'd been saving for years too because they knew I was going to go to uni somewhere, I'd be stuffed without that fund...

I'll agree with Borat on this one, that car looks absolutely pathetic. Although you think it will look good, you'll get far more abuse from people laughing at you than people saying that (they think) it looks good.

My house for this year costs me £45 a week, the house it massive, I've got a fairly big room, all rooms are big enough for double beds, and the lounge/kitchen are also pretty big.

My parents will pay my tuition fees and they give me £100 a month towards food, they started saving for this years ago so it just comes out of the 'uni fund.'

I've worked solid all summer, I earn £300 a week so I'll have about £3500 when I finish in 2 weeks time, that should help me throughout the year!

Doubt I'll get a job while at uni, I don't need to get one...
