Who stay away from home.

How expensive is it exactly?
Do you have a part time job etc

My plan for next year is to move into the 'Student Villiage' in the centre of Glasgow. It's like £75 a week or something. But, if I save up my loan for the next year and my wages and can still come home to work at weekends I could afford it I think.

Since the place I'm staying is next to the station and my work is next to a station it'll only take me about 45 minutes to get to work.

Waheh, I get to be a real student... next year.

Most of my friends = straight to uni.

Australia is always popular. Which is sad, because, although it looks great etc, it's another WASP nation, just in the Southern Hemisphere.

And I realise that had nothing to do with what you said but hey, had to get it off my ample chest.

Exactly. Most of my friends either took a year out to go "explore the world" (world being Singapore and Australia), and the other half were retaking their A Levels. Only one other person started uni.

quite right, never be ashamed of how you earn your money. then again nver be slack and put off working for the few years that uni takes from you. Can never understand why folk take a year out moaning that theyre poor and then travel the world. Its like the fat person that goes into the chippy and says ten bags of chips and a can of diet coke totally ironic.

Even worse are those people who sit in front of a computer typing all day, and getting getting paid much more than those in manual labour. makes me sick, SICK I tells ya.
