It's Mr Pants = mmmm mediocracy
It's been, what, four years since they released a game worth playing?

Well next time phrase yourself better then.
You seemed to be disagreeing with me saying that BK is good unlike DK64. Which is different to my argument which was BT is like DK64.

Great. I know. I was talking about DK64.

No, it was not!
Goldeneye wasn't released on the N64 for quite a while after the UK launch.
Goldeneye pushed sales of the N64 through the roof and (although we'll never know) without Goldeneye the N64 would never of lasted as long as it did!

I'm not talking Banjo Kazooie. I'm talking tooie. Which was basically DK64 with Banjo and Kazooie.
Oh and AfroJoe RARE have released one terrible game on the X-box so far.
Pokemon saved the N64, Goldeneye did a lot of good, but the real saviour was the mega selling Pokemon franchise.
Free Radical would be like the best buy ever.
Nintendo would have done well to buy Free Radical with the Rare money. What a steal that would have been.

That's like saying Feel the Magic was the saviour of the DS.
Goldeneye was a launch title was it not?

If you can call $500 million nothing...
Come on, face it, Nintendo made a very good decision in selling Rare, especially for that kind of money. How many games have Rare made since Nintendo sold them to Microsoft that are actually any good whatsoever?
Half their previously planned titles have been canned, and no-one has a clue what's happening with most of the rest of them. Then there's the couple of crappy Xbox games they released last year, which received about an average rating of 65%. Which really isn't all that great at all, consdering Rare's N64 titles.
Also, Rare are even still developing games for Nintendo's handhelds. "Hey, Nintendo, we'll buy Rare for $500 million from you and still let them develop games for your most important system. How about it?" I think yes is the obvious answer here.
The levels were way way too big, so you never got any real sense of them. Banjo Kazooies levels were all just the perfect size, so you always knew where you were and you never got lost, and you got to see every part of every level and you knew them all thoroughly.
