There we go, PSP has just out sold DS for the first time.

Many people have waited for years for a console that is not Nintendo with the usual line of of Nintendo games. And the stylus is not going to save the DS. DS just is not powerfull enough to take on PSP. How many years til the GBA2 is released?

Selling the DS, eh?

Shame - you'll get one again though, I'm sure.

What games have you got to sell then? I might buy.

In all honesty, wifi support for the DS is looking stronger than for the PSP at the mo. There's even a group working on a common standard for all to use. On top of that, it's already working, and in use in games. Not to mention that prolonged use of wifi on the PSP will sap the battery life real good.

And still...

I've been broken....

DS is going to be sold, PSP will be on its way shortly.

:(

Love the DS, great piece of kit. But the PSP is looking to use one thing that I really want to see being used - the Wi-Fi connection. Internet browser is a definite and looks like online wi-fi gaming is very likely too.

Such a shame. Love the DS for what it is but having seen Toca Race Driver 2 announced and Wipeout pure (never mind Ridge Racers etc), it's just too hard to ignore.

Be gentle with me...

Yeh I had a five hour round journey to London and took my DS. Like to see the PSP lasting all that playing some of the more advanced games.

That's actually a very fair point.

I did spend around £50 for a 512mb Memory Stick for my phone and don't regret it for a second.

But having to potentially buy extra charging equipment to get the most out of the system goes to show that this potentially magnificent piece of kit has got a couple of really silly flaws.

Must say, the battery life on the DS has really surprised me. Pretty impressive!

I would get the PSP but the fact that it's only going to last me 3 hours when playing Ridge Racer (wait until even more advanced games come out) is a bit pathetic. I'm not paying £40 for another battery either, or £100+ for a decent memory stick...

DS all the way, until Sony actually realise what is meant by portable, in that you don't need to take cables with you everywhere to charge it...
