This isn't just a pointless thread, I do need to read your answers to ths so think about the following question please and help out a fellow member.

"What would you do if you won the lottery?"

And no, I haven't won and I'm not looking for ideas, so please, over to you...

Is that the one that Jeremy Clarkson made a whole new place to store on the cool board on Top Gear?

Wouldn't they have another one that is better by the time you win the lottery?

Same here, a million alone will probably get you about £500 interest a day, that's enough to live comfortably.

I'd also keep my win a secret as best as possible.

Assuming I was 18, I would probably firstly buy the things that I'd want. A house, a car (nothing super-fancy), some of the things I've always wanted, like a pool and stuff.

Then I'd lob the rest of it into a savings account to allow me to live a pretty easy life. Not to say I might not still have further education, get a job, or run a business. I'd just leave it there so taht, if I ever got fed up with whatever I was doing, or needed it, I could bail out.

I'd probably also do some travelling at some point.

Buy some nice cars, a nice house (or a few) and all the stuff that I want
Make sure my family were all "living comfortably"
Give some to charity
Take mates on holiday
Do something to help people in need
Have someone make me an A-team game actually worth playing. :-P
Continue to play the lotto :-)

Same here.

I wouldn't tell any of my friends until I knew I could trust them.

I.e, Telling anyone would just bring "false friendship"

I would use the new found wealth to attract pretty girls, i would also invest a hefty portion in the stock exchange and then go on to become britains wealthiest batchelor.

Ahhh. At least i have my dreams.

If you put 3 million in the bank, at 5% interest, you'd get £150,000 after your first year. £157,500 thes second year and so on. I'd be happy with that. Obviously the first thing I'd do is buy out Inter-mediates Ltd and award myself all 3 GADs per day.

Sex, drugs and rock and roll.

Possibly without the sex or drugs.
