This isn't just a pointless thread, I do need to read your answers to ths so think about the following question please and help out a fellow member.

"What would you do if you won the lottery?"

And no, I haven't won and I'm not looking for ideas, so please, over to you...

I'd buy a really big shed and a life-time supply of skittles and spend all of my boring life sorting them into colours. :)

You may or may not believe me but I wouldn't go out and buy a bigger house, better car, whatever. I'd pay off any debts myself or my family might have. I'd probably give them a share so they can be comfortably happy.

I'd probably save the rest, perhaps buying a few things that interest me. I wouldn't go crazy because that isn't me.

My opinion doesn't seem to matter now after Timmargh's inspiring words. But I would give alot to my family, show the love of my life the time of hers, donate some to charity, and do some spending...

I'd buy a solid gold house and a rocket car.

---------------------

I'd split whatever I won in half and give half to my parents.

I'd invest a large portion so I'd always have at least some finances to fall back on.

I would use the rest to live my life as I see fit - live a permanent holiday, buy houses in exotic locations, invite all my friends to come and stay with me (that's the friends I had before I won, not the ones that came out of the woodwork after) free of charge.

If that's selfish, then call me mister selfish.

I'd work out how much I'd need to sort myself out, i.e. house and future.

Then I'd hire a lawyer to anonymously contact my family and five of my friends saying a benefactor has left them money in his will and divide the rest of the money between them.

To cover up the fact it was me, I'd tell them I was contacted too.

You would also have incredible influence on the forums. You could use your power to do amusing things to the gimpoids that appear from time to time. Such as changing their status to spazzy mcspaz.
