I went on twice with school, but didn't get to go on with the family. Queued up and were almost there then it broke down, when we went back later queues were massive.

In my opinion Air is the most exhilirating. You feel like you're actually flying. However, you must sit in the front row. There is a side queue that forks near to the end, although it takes longer, its well worth it.

Nemesis is great - close second best, although this tends to have the biggest queue. It's still worth it though.

Oblivion next. This has the biggest thrill of the lot, but it lasts for about 3 seconds, which compared to the 1/2 hour plus length of time you wait for it doesn't seem that good value for the time you have.

If you go on all these, I would recommend going on the ghost train. You have a laser gun, and you go round a course, shooting zombies and spiders etc. It's a good laugh, though maybe not what your g/f wants.

Other good rides include Blackhole, Log flume, the rapids one, Corkscrew and Spinner Whizzer or something. Though Corkscrew's a really bumpy ride. I advise you wear a helmet.:P

If you wanna skip queues go on the big rides in the morning, or during the lunch peak times.

Have fun!

Spinball Whizzer is ok, but not really worth much of a queue for.

Oblivion is awesome. For the best effects, make sure you're at the front row, looking straight down the hole, and making sure your hands and feet are not holding you in at all. Guaranteed, this will terrify you.

Nemesis is the next best ride at the park. If you go on that, again it's worth a few extra minutes to be in the very front. Air's good too... but not quite up to Nemesis.

Corkscrew isn't that great. Don't bother with it unless there's no queue.

Black Hole is fairly good, but queue's usually a bit excesive.

If you go on the log flume, you'll only really get wet at the front. How wet you get is directly proportional to the combined weight in it. I was at the front of a cart occupied by four blokes and total weight of about 45 stone. Lets just say I'd have been about as dry if I'd swam the whole route.
