The women's volleyball was pretty good though...
The thing that ticked me off about her was the fact that she ended the marathon because she was exhausted and knew she couldn't get a medal, so she stopped and gave up. Many people will now bombard me with hate messages and look at me in disgust for brandishing our "golden girl" a quitter, but it's just what I think.
Two other British runners ran in that marathon you know, they finished as well. They finished the race, but didn't get much acknowledgment for it.
Paula fails to finish again.
She's gone from 'I can run 26 miles in record time' to 'I can't run 10,000 metres' in the space of a week. At this rate she'll struggle to get up the stairs to go to bed; instead breaking down half way up before sobbingly slurching down the banister to kip on the sofa.
Who let her back on the track anyway?

Bah. It has tarnished that nice name forever.

Ha, that is truly excellent.
Looks like the Olympic Highlights reel will in fact be Auntie's Sporting Bloomers 37.
Edit: Muh, you already wrote that as well. I'll have to start reading the original posts..
