I'll go Liverpool for the 4th spot.
Crystal Palace, Norwich and West Brom for the drop.
Birmingham will be this years surprise package.
What do you think?

Think Liverpool will hopefully still reach 3rd place without Owen, we have plenty of talent upfront already 'ahem' Cisse/Baros. Think its good that Baros will get Owen's 'spot' and we can finally see him getting 1st team football and hopefully bag plenty of goals.
actually i THINK RUUD is GOOD BECAUSE he SCORES goals that are skillful.

Eh? I fail to see the part were tapping a ball into an empty net 1-yard from goal is skillful.
Enlighten us, so that we may possibly laugh at you even moreso.
But to be honest, with what I saw against Arsenal in the Community Shield, their squad is quite ropey at the moment.
Several of their big players are approaching 'past it', and the youngsters just aren't of the quality normally associated with United.
Defensively United are bordering on a joke. They still have Ferdinand to come back, but (a) he won't be match-fit for a while, and (b) I can't see him being big enough to cover the holes left by the others.
United's best hope this season is that they adopt the 'Keegan' mentality, and score more than they concede - in every game. Somehow I can't see them keeping that many clean sheets.
But as they say... we shall see. Maybe they'll have a revelation or two.
> actually i THINK RUUD is GOOD BECAUSE he SCORES goals that are
Van Nistelrooy hasn't yet scored a goal for United outside the penalty area. And that's true.

Unless, of course, down comes into play.
> Nah, prefer Baros. Have done for ages. And it's done, I'm all Baros-ed

i always liked baros b4 the euros coz he plays classy football and has mucho pace. and he looks like one of my mates.
Suprise package? Charlton Athletic. There's a good chance they'll sign Beattie from Southampton, and seeing how well they did last year, the only way is up.
