He's a goal scorer, you can't deny that. He scored what was admittedly a tricky header at the Euros, but before that he hadn't scored in 3 years. If he's a goalscorer, but he doesn't score, what's he in the team for?

That's a bit of a shock, seems completely out of the blue. He didn't exactly shine at Euro 2004 though.

This is probably down to the amount of injures he has had over the past couple of seasons.

He has got 60+ caps so not bad really.
