Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!

The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!
We must MSN-it after the game also.

Good lad.
I'll let you know where i stand so i can gesture obscenities throughout the game ;-)
Judgement Day x 3 this season.
Woking Win x 0, err, I mean 3.

Certainly wasn't luck.
This time next week then is judgement day.
I promise not to gloat.

Yuss indeed.
Treble season! Treble season! Uhah Ahuh! Uhah Ahuh!
And I forgot to mention what lucky basts you were for scoring twice to get a point against Forest Green.
We got completely screwed for the first time since Aldershot against Gravesend. The ref gave them a sympathy penalty, turned one for us down, and generally had a crap game. We also hit the inside of the post twice through Selley (thirty-five-friggin-yards) and Richards.
Then again, you know it's been a strange day when Selley, other than his scorcher, had a mare, Raph scores and Neil Smith plays like he owns the pitch.
Up the Cards!
...we won 4-1! Some very good goals, and was a pretty good game from our point of view. Only bad thing was on the way out, all the stroppy City fans were being fools, with one grabbing me trying to start something with me, but nothing of the sort did.
Joint 6th now, Hull at home next Wednesday, looking forward to it.

This is the reason I don't get to see many live games anymore. I used to go everywhere with Leeds Rugby League and always ended up so very, very cold. I quit going to any games whatsoever. Much prefer to be sat in a warm pub with a beer or even the house with a cup of tea.
