Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!

The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!

C'mon you whites.

Hey! Just be happy that you did the double over them.
Not not saying it wouldn't happen, especially based on my earlier predictions, but we face Wrexham in the last game.
just hope that leeds united can reach the playoffs next season.
(off topic) any one seen the new leeds shirt?
All I hope for now is that we finish higher than Huddersfield. Got Oldham away next week so should win our final game, and can finish at the most 8th. I hope Deona gets top goal scorer too!
We're also the first ever previous European Cup winner to play in the third tier of their domestic league. Even when we're rubbish we make history.
Scarily enough if the 3 teams above us all lose next week and Town can win like they did today there is still a chance that we could join you. Can't see it myself - one of them are away to your lot and the other two play at home. Still ....
Hull 1 - 2 Sheff Wed!! We are in the Playoffs!!!
E I E I E I O UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO!
We need a point at least tomorrow...but it looks like qualifying for the Playoffs is going right down to the last game of the season.
