Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!
--------------------------------------------
The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!
Anyway City drew 0-0 on Saturday, so it looks like a dead finish to the season for us. We'll end up tenth or some thing and all we could do is ruin Bournmouth's play off hopes this week end.
Liverpool to win!
their defence is useless though...
and it was Towns turn to do Sheffield a
> favour this weekend, seeing as they didn't help themselves.
And Doncaster.....
The hells going on...
Windass got to taking his over all talley up to 50 for City and 25 althogether in the season. Bridge-Wilkinson also got 2, he definitely was a good buy for the midfield. We could have had about 6 or 7 though.
When the hell are we going to get some bloody decent officials!
Looks like it will go down to the wire.
Tranmere play Brentford tomorrow, so could do with a Rovers win. And we play Hartlepool on Friday night. Its gona be a big week for deciding how the Playoff places go.

You would have had trouble finding any anyway. Dont know how many tickets Leeds gave them, but thier away following last night was shocking! Even Leeds didnt sell out.
In fact there was more fans at the Sheff Wed V Doncaster game at Hillsborough not long back. Granted the Leeds/Pigs game was a mid week match, but still.
