Last season owen scored 19 in all competitions! Just to be facecious (i just checked) from 38 starts (no subs). A respectable 2:1 that most top strikers aim for.
However when you compare that with van horseface he is raped and pillaged:
Ruudy van scored 30 in 42+2 (sub ons). A true sign of greatness
Lord Trevor Enry scored 39 in 51=1(sub on) again destroying owen

Just read this, and it proves how little you know. It's not about HIGHLIGHTS. They're moments of genius - sure, they're nice to watch. It'd be great to see Owen do an Argentina style-goal at Old Trafford. But I'd much prefer to see him do what he does best. Consistently. Score. Goals.
It don't care if he never wins another award, or doesn't score a hatrick for England again. I care that he's scored 20+ goals for the last 5 seasons.

By the way my god ordained fantasy league team is now available for you mortals to view. Needs some work though. Two villa players in defence and defoe up front might be a bit risky, but i am paying the price for gambling on jose mourinho's results. as 5 points for a win is quite a good return.

I meant in terms of scoring International goals against great International sides, and at the biggest stage of them all :) ...but you knew what I meant ;)
