The PS2, X-box, etc. and Sony's GSCube (PS3?) mean that games are going to get more realistic. Wicked! I hear you say. But is this a good thing, morally? I'd be interested to know everyones' opinion on the debate.

i completely agree with u mi6. and in the mgs2 demo the blobs of rain blurring snake's vision made me feel i was actually there. i was there. let me say that again. i was there- flipping hell, that is incredible thats what i call 'the next level'! my personal opinion is that games getting more and more realistic is great. i was just curious 2 kno what every1 else thinks, especially about the violence on screen breeds violence in real life argument. i would like games 2 eventually get 2 a stage where they r just like real life but i see ur point. i think there could still be a hell of a lot of escapism there. i think i could win u over if i explained sum ideas for games, but im not goin 2. so there. lol.

ps. sorry for the lower case, poor punctuation etc. from last year i started typing forum posts as succinctly as possible because it's less demanding on my time.
