Chat is great, people who have Mac can converse with PC owners, it was great talking to people like Er-No and Venom who don't have messenger...

I vote that the chat stays.

I dont think the chat rooms would be used for gaming tings much. just for general talk when people are bored.

The idea isn't for it to replace the forums...
It's just easier to talk and have...sensible discussions about the gaming industry *cough* on there, but the forum is still around for all the normal uses.

I say no. I don't like chatroom's really. It's too easy to miss topics of interest. The slow pace lets us have long debates or discussions, or games even (Guess the sketch for example). This would be impossible in a chatroom, as the messages would probably be short, and there would be no way of knowing what people have said while you are away.

As a student, I like the fact that this is permanent, so whenever I can get on I can see what the hot topics are.

Another advantage is that if someone has a request or a games problem the post can stay up until someone has an answer.

That's what I said before about it working together with a forum, it's not possible to do long stories and threads on there, but just chatting to a friend on a forum can be very slow, so there's choice for the users.
Hum..losing battle here.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Second to none...
So far the services you provide are second to none. Keep up the good work.
