I have enough money for a game, yipee, but i dont know what to get, either tales of symphonia or paper mario 2, which is better?

mario gets ___
and Tales gets ___

Paper Mario 2 :- 94%
Tales of Symphonia :- 73%

Oooo which one to chose, as im crap with long games i choose MARIO WAHEY

I think Rickoss will agree that you won't regret that. Paper Mario 2 is funny, it is very clever, addictive and even allows you to play as peach/bowser.

I mean I loved the game. So looking forward to an inevitable DS or Revolution addition.

Paper Mario 2 is good but Tales is an Epic, I preferTales more because I like it more ways than PM2 although both are well worth it.

You can't say Tales length is a negative point as that's just down to your personal preference. Like I said, I loved PM2, and you won't be disappointed either way, but Tales is far more engrossing and in the long run the better game. It seems shallow and a little dull at first, but after a few hours it really becomes something a lot better. The reason reviews gave it low scores is because they don't have as much time to explore and get very far before making a decision about it.

Oh, and the only reason you refused to like Skies is because I said it was better than Wind Waker. :P

Tales is a superb game for the RPG fan. You need to remember, as an alien to the RPG genre I will naturally find Paper Mario more engrossing because it is geared to the "non-traditional" RPG gamer.

I don't NOT like skies. I did play it an enjoy it. If I had very few titles I'd have never have sold it. It'd be a game to play for hours and keep me engrossed for weeks and weeks. Knowing me, months.

But the thing is I do have loads of games, many are finished now but their are many to go. Right now I'm trying to finish of 4 swords, POP 2, FIFA 2005, Dkong Jungle Beat AND I haven't even begun Metroid Prime 2.

And you see, throw in some uni work, and I don't have the time to play an RPG. RPG's are rewarding eventually. But it'd take me about 2 weeks to finally get that reward.

if you like multi player so much, then why dont you go for..... Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. You get all the RPG goodness as well as your much desired multi player feature.

Let me handle this one guys...

FF:CC was utter rubbish.

Anyway I didn't prefer Wind Waker either compared to Skies, and Tales comes very close to Skies's in gameplay. I am one of those who loves traditional RPG's and I say the longer the better.
