PSV only have £4M. :(
I've only managed to buy one decent defender with that money, im thinking about getting Wiltord, I know he's old but hes not that old (30 years).
Is it worth me trying to sell the players I dont need or shall I just terminate their contracts because most of my players arent even worth that much.
I have way too many defenders and about 4 keepers, loads of midfielders and just enough strikers.
I dont need to worry about buying anyone too soon because im doing really good so far since I drew with Arsenal.

Also, I highly recommend Julio Baptista. In my third season, he wanted a new contract so became approachable to sign. So I did, although I had to pay £12,000,000 in compensation to Sevilla. But definately worth it... 20 finishing, and great at long-shots. Takes him a while to settle down though :D.

Just managed to draw with Arsenal in the CL! Last time we played it was a friendly and they thrashed me 4-2 without Henry, Freddy and Viera.
My keeper play fantastic! Arsenal had 12 shots on target and my keeper managed to stop every single one, Henry and Reyes both had a one on one with the keeper EACH buit somehow the keeper stopped both shots!
Very happy right now, I have the worst possible CL group (Celtic, Arsenal and Inter) but after a draw against Arsenal I think I could still get in the top two of my group.

Changes after you sign players. The more players you have, the higher your wage bill, and the less you can afford to offer for new players.
My advice - trim the fat. Lose any 32+ players, or any second stringers on over £20K p/w. I decided that Roy Keane wasn't worth the £60K p/w, and immediatly terminated his contract. Shame, he went to Man City and is now (having been released) at Tottenham, where he is second string.

Heh, theres no way i'll be getting him anytime soon then. I dont know why but I made an offer for this young player and he accepted it, then I offered him a contract and I was only allowed to offer him £75 p/w, he was a really good player too.
Why is this? I bought someone before him and was able to offer him about £13k p/w so why only £75 p/w for this guy?
Transfer Deadline has passed and im just going to concentrate on the players I have all season, that way i'll be able to judge who's worth keeping and who's worth getting rid of.
I sold Park and Hese because they were worth quite a bit buit I wish I kept Park until the end of the season now, oh well.
