Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

If they're tired, you need to learn how to manipulate and rotate the squad. Not to sound arrogant, but because I understand the psycology and ideas involved in football, as I know you do atleast to an extent, you have to get it right.

Rotating the squad too frequently (especially the back 4) then there's no consistency and it wont work. Rotate too little and they'll become tired.

I don't know how good the game is at measuring and responding to these changes, but I find that my 2 best players play every game and I rotate others around them. Then for the tiny games, they are the only 2 I rotate.

I'm sure I'm missing some nuances out, but come back if you have any problems.

Hmm, mixture of both.

My best game was a 6-6 draw with Ajax against Arsenal, in the Champions League, 10-6 on aggregate as well.

I love the Eredivisie and its lack of regulations.

As for you, down, are your players really tired towards the end? Or is it just a fact that their performances dip?

Heh.

You didn't see the game between me (Arsenal) and Barcelona.

Champs League Semi-final.

I won 4-3 with 3 goals in the final 3 minutes. They were 3-0 up too...

I seem to have the same problem whatever tactic or team I go as, start unbelievably strongly, fade slightly towards the end of the season, then next season come back amazingly strong again.

I don't have them training on matchday and I rest them the day after.

Any ideas?

Cisse is fantastic :) 13(2) apps, 15 goals!
Baros has scored 2 in 1(1), I just don't like him.
Harry Kewell is shockingly good - Ave Rat: 8.00 after 13 games
Kirkland is very good as well, and not injury prone :o 8.00 after 16 games. I've never had it so high for a keeper.

I think it's the whole team though, lowest rating is 7.00, highest, not counting one-game wonders is 8.00.

Just threw a 3-0 lead against Tottenham and drew :(
