Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

Arsenal are pretty much out the race now with Henry going down for 4 weeks which means it is down to me and Money Bags for the league title. Should be a good race. Liverpool seem to be climbing up the table now although they have only been beating the bottom teams.

My youngsters had a good first game beating Fulham's youngsters 3-0, Adu scoring twice on his first start :-D Carlos Saleiro also looks a good buy, gave him and a few of the other kids a start in the FA Cup 3rd round against Morcambe and he got himself a hat-trick in the 6-0 victory. Quite a debut :-D

Wahey, finally sit atop the table with United after finally shaking off Arsenal and Chelsea for sole possession of the top spot. Other good news is that Liverpool are 17th in the table with the joint 3rd worst scoring record in the entire league with only 17 goals from 20 games :-D

In my Q.P.R team i seem to have find a good'un in Dexter Blackstock who i had taken on loan from S-Ton, 6 goals in one start and 7 sub appearances, he's averaging a goal every 54 minutes, selling Rowlands to Sturm Graz on the first of January for 825k (that was after Watford turned him down for 325k because they thought he was too expensive :-D) so i may be splashing some of that money on bringing Dexter in permanently. Still 6th after 22 games and pretty much avoided relegation which was my pre-season target so good first season with them, though i'm kind of hoping i don't actually get promotion as i wouldn't be able to compete without wholesale changes really, rather have another season to bring in a few more youngsters and get them experience

Liverpool sacked me a week after reaching the league couple final beating Charlton before I then went on to defeat West Brom, rather unconvincingly though... Apparently, I had a very poor relationship with my players? Yet, not one of them had spoken out - and we were on the brink of so much!

Only 3 points off Chelsea in the league, winning in the FA Cup, about to face Milan in the second round (this was February).

So, Gary Megson takes over, leaving high-flying Charlton (who've been in-and-around the top 5 all season!). Okay, they win the cup final, but then get humiliated by Milan, knocked out of the FA Cup, and suddenly, despite having only lost one game all season (Portsmouth), they're dropping points all over the place with his wing-backs system! :P

Everything I had finally been working for... It's all gone! :(

Two months later and Kevin Keegan resigns from his second spell at Newcastle (this is 2010). In the last eight games, beating Matthias Sammer's Man United 6-3 (Robinho, Rooney and Ruud!) and losing once, we make it into the UEFA Cup, 5 place - only 3 points off of Megson's fallen Liverpool. Chelsea ran away with the league. :(

I've made some decent summer signings, most on free transfers, so things are looking quite good, having only lost 3-0 to United so far. Given, Evra, Burdisso, Taylor, Lauren, Hitzilsperger, van Bommel, ? and ?, Smith and Ameobi upfront.

And the board only give me £6m to spend! :P
Half of that went on Michael Dawson to reinforce my defence. He's not bad at all, but I would like to have better.

Keegan signed Beckham and Forsell fortunately, though Beckham's not really all that, I've found! ;)

Aston Villa also offered me a job after sacking Ian Holloway, while Glenn Hoddle rejoined Bristol City only DAYS after resigning from the job! :o

I've been offered jobs with Sweden, Turkey, Czech Republic and a couple of others so far this year - all of which have been turned down, which England just beat Uruguay in the World Cup final (Sam Alladyce *COUGH COUGH*)!

Isn't that the same in real life? Arsenal = better in the league than the Champions League. :)

Heh. Not that anyone cares, but another puzzling thing is that when I play Arsenal in the league, they're much harder than in the Champions League. In fact, they're top. As far as I saw, they had pretty much the same squad.
