Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Finished the season now, 14th place in the end so a definite improvement on last season. Hopefully this season I can get a play off place and who knows?

Thanks for the tip I'll have a look to see if I can get him.

Sorry, I meant Torres, not Tevez. (He is released on a free.)

Ah well - Just lost to Liverpool 1-0 as Spurs in the League cup final. Im gonna have to win the F.A cup, league or CHamp. league to get the double (After getting the Community Shield.)

How will he be able to get Tevez at the end of the season? He's about £6M.

I had to re-install FM because for some reason it was running really slow, so once it was installed again I decided to manage West Brom and bought Bierofka, Fredhielm Holm and just goit Vanden Borre on a free because he left his club.

Heh, just beat Chelsea 4-2 in the league cup and Nottm Forest have just beaten Arsenal 3-2.

Whats going on!? :D

See if you can pick up Tevez at the end of the season. Worth an outside shot...

Also, how much cash do you have? £1M?

Wahey.

Start of the summer transfer window, and my very inform Gerard (who came into his own at DMC, scoring 11 in 24 from a very defensive position) was swooped in by Chelsea, who offered me £2.5M and one other player. Obviously, they offered me some rubbish keeper, but one thing about those transfers is that, in general, when another team offers you a player, you can replace that player with anyone, and they'll hardly ever refuse (within reason).

So I needed a DMC, and, since Chelsea have too much moneh, they had Xabi Alonso. And there we go.

I love my team...

Rensing
Vanden Borre / de Jong- Ferdinand - Silvestre / Bovo - Heinze
Xabi Alonso (yay)
Esposito - van der Vaart - Ronaldo
Tevez / Nistelroy / Saha - Smith (gold) / Rooney / Roncatto

Just realised I did an odd quad. Premiership, Champions League, Super Cup, League Cup. Yays.

2 seasons in a row where I've won the Premiership and the Champions League, 'tis a great day.

Thanks for the tip.

Injuries and suspensions are taking their toll and i'm slipping down the table. Ah well, shouldn't get caught in the relegation dogfight but was hoping to try and push for the playoffs so looks like mid-table this season which is better than last season.

Fingers crossed for next season!

Ah, that's who I was thinking of - Bierofka.

I'll have him, as well as Vanden Borre and Kaebi. Steven Hammell isn't a bad signing either.

Now I just need somebody to take Morientes off my hands for £20M...

Ryan Esson is a quality goalkeeper, he's cheap and his stats might not be wonderful but he got 30 caps in 44 apps when I played as Nottm Forest ages ago.

I think you should try him out, Smedlos.
