It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.
I love Football Manager '05
Though now i've brought in a load of youngsters for my United team i'm hoping when first team players need a rest i can give them a run out and they'll be able to perform, will give them some needed experience, think for this season coming up i'll play them in the League and FA Cup and concentrate on the league and Champs League

It's the first season so I don't have huge funds and it's in closed transfer bit. I've got 5 players coming in in June including 1 forward, 2 midfielders and 2 defenders, for now I'm just struggling by. I'm 2nd in the league, in the 4th round of the FA cup and have Roma in the first knockout phase of Champs League, so I'm not doing too badly.
The main thing is that my players never seem to be above 95%, they play 1 game and then need a rest, so I rest them for 2 games and then play them again...guess what...they then need another bloody rest!
All my first team are dead on their feet, it's stupid, I'm not training them too hard. They're playing the same ammount of games as every other team and yet they're dead.
What's more annoying is that all my stars get injured just before a big game or at the very start of the big game. I'm playing as Liverpool at the moment and my line-up hardly ever has more then 4 names you'd expect to see.

Yeah, how many leagues do you have running? Your DB must be really small or loading must take years...
Also - with injuries, the idea is to try not to play anyone if they're under 95% condition, or definately not play them if they're under 85%. Bring them on at half time or at the 60th.
Therefore, I envy you. I really do!
It takes me, on average, a good three hours before I'm finally at the end of another month and that's only with the English league selected, plus lower leagues.
Perhaps I should think about drastically down-sizing my shortlist?
After all, it still takes me two hours to go through the fixture-less part of pre-season, thanks in part to the number of contracts expiring and such.
Now managing Elche, a poor team in the Spanish second. Decent players, but not much cash, and problems with the wage bill. I'll sell a few stars to sort that out...
Chelsea wouldn't have been relegated if I was still there though. I'm sure. Worst season for injuries I've ever had.
