It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.







I love Football Manager '05

5 games to go and am 1 point into relegation in the Championship but with a better goal difference to the people around me. Fingers crossed!

Heh, Shaun Wright Phillips is in Chelsea's reserve squad on my game. :D

I wonder how close that'll be to real life in a year or so...

EDIT: My board have raise my transfer funds up again, i've got about £30M now.

That the Atletico Madrid keeper?

Formulated some awsome tactics to beat Arsenal. In the five games that I've used them, I've won three and drawn two.

Also, came across Leo Franco - Class keeper. Anyone else seen him?

1st in the Premiership with Arsenal after Chelsea suprisingly drew with Wigan.

My Chelsea team (not Chelsea as they come in the game, but with a reputation reduced to zero) are struggling in the Prem a little. Just got two wins on the bounce to get out of the relegation zone, though I do have three games in hand on most of my rivals. Still in the UEFA cup after winning the group stages, which included wins at Besiktas and Udinese.

The only real problem is the amount of injuries I'm having. I have 9 players in my first team squad out through injury at the moment, and my best cerntre back is off playing for the Solomon Islands.

Transfer window is about to open though, so I'll have ot strengthen. The trouble with no reputation, is that few teams want to play for you.

Getting loads of job offers, but i want ot at least complete the season. I now have a Continentla reputation, probably because I made a team as poorly ranked as Chelsea a premier league team, and doing alright in Europe.

Am on the verge of relegation with Boston in the Championship - never yet managed to take a League 2 team into the Premiership but maybe will one day.

Well, i've won my first four matches of my second season and have some awesome strikers - Podolski, Tevez and Owen.
