Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

I agree, but me winning 17 straight games with England, including Brazil, is stupid.

Lol...the game isn't too hard with one of the top clubs that already have top stars. Try starting with a league one club or a league two club...then you'll know what hard is :P

Me smells a conspiracy theory.
:D

The games just too easy for me now. I've been made favorites for everything and am first in everything as Arsenal. And as England I've won 17 straight games. It's only 2007.

The coaches for lower league teams are crap, never ever trust them.

Lol...yeah that could prove a problem. You should always have two keepers, even if you never put 1 on the bench he'll still be a good backup.

The thing about this game is that the tactics that made you win everything will not work the next season. The computer learns your tactics and finds out how to defeat it, it's genius.

I had a lot of injuries, so I got my Coach to help me pick, and then just changed the odd player. I thought he knew what he was doing.

Oh yes, and I had a single 'keeper, which became a problem when he got injured :-(

The original post was basically based on my season so far with Lewes.

A relegation battle was expected, but I found myself top after about 14 games.

I then won a grand total of 1, yes A WHOLE GAME, for the rest of the season.

Well, I have 2 games to go, but I'll probably lose 'em anyway. 14th at the moment.

Yeah, I've been playing this for a while. Kinda stopped a few months ago but I was Wycombe and had managed to get myself to division 1 and avoid relegation there. My total game time was 3 days or something :P
