Good idea with regards to anti-piracy, but the implementation is absolutely awful.

So can I. On paper it is a great idea but in practise it is useless. It causes too many problems. I thought I was the only one suffering at the hands of the giant mess that is Steam, but evidently not.

yeah my xfire was playing up yesterday after the update, tried to join some of you ingame and steam was loaded but nothing happened, then connected manually to the server and all my walls were a shiny pink, had to restart my computer and then all was well. (to be fair my computer had been on for 5 days and probably needed to be restarted.)

Nah, I've never had a problem with it either. I think these guys have spent too long hanging out with the NATO clan. I imagine their HQ as some kind of really intense Byker Grove, where they didn't laugh when Jeff died.
FFS.
$$@%&£$* Valve. GRrrr.
This morning : Could not connect to Steam.
*explodes*
GRRRR.
It makes sense.

I deleted them when I realised I "didn't need" a backup when it left my games alone.
Then today I uninstall Steam and it deletes all my games too.
wtf?

It was only this evening that I thought about backing them all up.
