Personally I think far too much importance is placed on football anyway, especially the amount of money spent on player's wages and the rights for TV etc.

Meh, it's a game. Doesn't affect me one bit, unless some brainless knuckle-dragger kicks off. And then it won't even affect me because I'm not going to a pub to watch it.

Even those who dont like the game should at least support their team rather than want them to lose, they are after all representing you whether you like football or not.
