Just list out what you would like to see on the home page of UKps2.com.

What should there be more of?

Here we go......
First, have a banner at the top, with a link straight to 'buy a PS2 now'!
Down the right hand side, have a list of the most selling products.
A link to the PS2 forum is essential, but a rather large on, of course!
A large pic of the console itself, will have a caption underneath, which will be taken out of a customer review or post.
Perhaps a link to that viseo presentation of the PS2, saying what it is capable of etc.
This could be on all the console sites. Which console you like best. It will display the names of all the posters, and which console they choose.
A link to the official Sony Website.
How about changing just the side menu colours to something related to the PS2 - The dividers ie. Hot spots on the left could be purple, The actual links black, and the backgrounds white. The ps2 logo should replace the big red spalt in the top left corner, but still say 'special reerve discount network'
There should be less news headers, and pictures to accompany them.
The links [theres far too many] should be put above the prooducts on the far right. Not all the linkls obviously, the ones under the PS2 discount picture.
Perhaps the PS2 logo as a background.
I dunno if it will increase loading time that much, but you could have a small embedded video above the left hand link menu, of MGS2 demo. It displays the PS2's best graphics, and would be a link to the PS2 video archives.
You could also have a list of getdotted domains available, related to the PS2. Like 'www.mgs2.online.com buy it now from getdotted.com!'
A link to PSX games, saying 'play the old classics on your PS2 - click here for PSX games' could be used
What about the right hand column being less obtrusive. It will still be there, but smaller, as the website I have described is running out of room.
Finally, a link to SR member's PS2 orientated homepages, unobtrusive, at the bottom.

An advanced search page, with a link alongside the normal one (or whatever you edit it to be), where you can specify keywords and also the area to search (discussions, products, cheats, news) - and also maybe let people select to show results from a certain platform only, selected by drop-down menus or checkboxes.
Include a search bar that will only show PS2 products when searched for.
Have an area on the page which shows all the links to PS2 related clips,cheats,reviews etc.
Have them in a small noticable space.
Or have links showing the top 10 games, top 10 cheats, latest news etc.
