There is to little news. As there is not as much news as on ukgames.com maybe you could expand the description of the news before the link comes into play.
Maybe you could include a link to a page with screenshots of some of the best PS2 games available.

I suggest the following improvements:
- A black background, maybe with stars
- More interesting font styles
- Bigger fonts
- Animated images, they don't take long to load if done right
