Not at all.
I just really cannot understand how a paint job - and so poor a paint job at that - won. Excluding my own, there were plenty of other great if not better efforts. They looked better, more effort was made, and they generally didn't look utter cockshank.
I mean, part of the incoherently thrown together concoction of, to be honest, pish-poor drawings, was this -- http://www.geocities.com/thekyzzone3/footballfosco.JPG
Sorry, but come on. That is blindingly poor. It looks as if it were drawn by a retarded Himalayan gorilla with the intelligence of a teaspoon, and the mental capacity of a pencil.
Just to reiterate for those with a memory span of a finger nail (which is the majority of you), this is not meant to be a whiny ar**d post. Just a statement of my complete and utter confusion at how such, and to steal Nashy's word, 'cockshank' won.

I'd like your honest opinion here.
Which do you believe is the better drawing(s)? I really wouldn't have put such effort in if I knew the former link would win.
What a way to waste more than a week of valuable revision time.
I'm still sure I'll get the barrage of "omg ur crap cuz u dint win!11392", and "but omg it woz para!1 ur jst jelus!1".
To this I say, shut up and open your eyes.
Freakin' morons.
At least my picture made sense in the slightest. And at least I could spell "Tony", rather than "omg sherrrighef".
Hmmm.
And please, oh please - don't try and guilt trip me because of my insulting of those utterly retarded...things, because it's plain to see.
They're boll*cks.
I tried so very hard to like your entries Kyz, I really did. I tried three times, but failed each time due to the fact that I failed to go not 10 seconds without feeling the need to bludgeon my own head with a knife in an attempt to rid my mind of the images.
Bah.
Not bitter. Honest.

Drawing ability eh? Well that's funny because had you read them, the rules clearly stated that it wasn't just about who had drawn the best picture/pictures, it was also about who had put in the most effort. You drew, what? One picture? Para entered a whole website with several Fosco pictures that, to be honest, were fairly impressive considering each one was done in paint. Oh, and perhaps Fosco looks quite like the characters Para drew, as that was another thing the judges were looking to see. Now quit moaning and don't use the "Oh, I’ll never win again now" ploy, because you'll get another chance.
> NOW who is the cretin. Oaf.
I weep.
Azul's was clearly the best though.
If the competition merely stated to draw a member of staff as best you can then he would have won. However this wasn't the case. As from what I can remember from the thread they implied they wanted something fun, something original, creative and funny. Whether you found any of Paradox's images funny is up to the judge(s). When considering Azuls picture, was it funny? No. Was it original? No. Was it creative? No. I was originally going to enter, my entry was going to be 5 comic strips in the style of Penny Arcade about several of the SR guys. In the end I decided one free game wasn't worth all the effort and binned what I had done. That is an example of being creative.
draw what you "think" the Special Reserve staffies look like. Seeing a picture of AB1000 in the latest SR magazine and drawing a sketch of what he actually looks like isn't exactly the kind of thing they wanted.
> Was it original? No.
If it was my own work from scratch, how on earth isn't it original?
And I really, really do not remember them saying, "The funniest thing will win".
Not at all.

What has that got to do with anything?

I bet it was painful for them too.
