"Need help with assignment"

I've gone back to university taking classes for my degree and my sociology class has a group discussion at the end of term. My group is to discuss euthanasia (assisted suicide). One of the things we've decided to do is take a poll of people and find out what the general consensus or majority say about this. So, if you would, please post whether you're for it, against it, or just don't know.

Oh, yes! Please state briefly why you're for or against it. Thanks in advance.

I am for it but just because I think it's really sad whenever I see old people. It's like they've regressed in some ways. They are normally completely unaware of the world around them (e.g. barely any old people 80+ own a computer), they can't do much, they are just there, normally alone. It's very...sad I just think at that time you should get the choice. I don't ever want to turn into one of them and if I do. I really don't think I'll want to be it for long.

I wouldnt do it myself but I can understand why others do it and I wouldnt look down on them but for the purposes of your poll I'll say against. This is because I dont think its right to take a human life. I may change my mind if ever put in the situation tho.
