Blackadder is good, but nothing great and somewhat inconsistent. One of the earlier series was really rather dull.
Blackadder was often inspired, but the earlier ones pretty patchy as you said.
OFAH makes me sad. I fail to see how people can like it.
And shame on all of you for not even mentioning Spaced.

And fly-on-the-wall "mockumentaries" and nothing new - anyone ever see People Like Us?
Shame series 2 doesn't seem to have surfaced on DVD though, the airport one was one of the best.
