"Why Gamecube is better than ps2"

1. Better games such as, Zelda: the Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, Super Monkey Ball2, ect.

2. Better graphics, the best are on Metroid Prime

3. More realiable, my ps2 scratched some of my disks and is noisy as hell.

4. Cheaper, £130(ps2 price) - 80(Gamecube price) = 50(saving when buying a cube)

5. The GBA player, what other consoles can you play on your ps2. (DVD dosen't count)

6. Controller design, when you play your Cube for 20 hours straight your hands feel good, not sore.

Those are the reasons why the 'Cube is better than the ps2. Alott of people say the ps2 is better because of the DVD player but the quality is so poor and most people have one anyway.

* Dragon quest monsters
* Egg monster...something
* FF: Crystal chronicles

Gamecube rules. Not only that but the DS will be better than the PSP. Sure the PSP's graphics will proberly be better but the quality of games will be far better on the DS just like all the other Nintendo consoles. The best game in my opinion will be Wario Ware Inc. I loved the GBA version but thought it was short lived. The PSP games will all be racing, fighting, shoot-em-up and Square Enix games. I don't like any of those catogeries but Square Enix games, if you agree with me please say so. Also PSP = $500
DS = $200?
Come on Sony, make it afforbable.

I thought Wave Race was beautiful. I didn't like the game itself but I thought the graphics were great. I prefered Wave Races water effects more than Mario Sunshines.

Buy a licenced Linux kit from sony.

Learn how to program games, cry when you see the six hardware manuals for developing on the PS2 and never sleep until you have a crap game running on the damn thing.

Wow it's hard, for a student like me anyway.

I can see why the Xbox is easily a better console, far easier to program in DirectX than for the dirty hacking world of the PS2, but I love it, as an amateur geek, the PS2 is fantastic :D

Luigi's Mansion's graphics are nowhere near as good as Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, Pokémon Colleseum, Zelda: The Wind Waker or Wave Race's. Who ever said this, how can you make your own games on your ps2, it sounds interesting. Now, after E3 the 'Cube looks like the future is very bright, more top class games (Zelda, Metriod Prime 2, Paper Mario, DK: Jungle Beat...). I have a ps2 and the only thing I find useful about it is playing Final Fantasy games.

Actually, I just got the Xploder V4 cheat disc and it has cheats for both GTA3 and VC, plus hundreds of other titles. If you have a PS2 it's worth owning one of these things. However, the only snag is that my VC disc isn't working so I'll need to go back to the store tomorrow. Which is crap because the store is 16 miles away.

I've decided to trade in my X-Box GTA double pack for the PS2 versions, again. For two reasons: I'll have something good to play on my PS2 again, and I can get those cheat discs as they add more to the games once they're finished. However, it'll be hard to track down the old xploder cheat disc with the GTA3 cheats.
