That's because our society is in more of a free state than some other countries where the 'national mindset' seems to be much more ordered and inflexible.

There is freedom in moderate chaos, rigid things break.

And what the saddest thing is is that the general public buy, read and listen to these tabloids.

The thing is is that the tabloids blind the public with the negatives.

Don't forget that a lot of EU contries are better than Britain.

We can't even sort out things like buses driving from A to B at a certain time.

I'm quite indifferent on the situation.

I have positive and negatives views on the EU.

Not really. People in this country are idiots and spend too much on credit and with loans. Thus the interest rate is rising at the moment(4.25%) and economists are saying the interest rate could be as high as 5% by the end of the year which is extremly high when compared to other developed nations around the world.

Joining the euro would mean we would have to have the same interest rate as the rest of europe as set by the europeon central bank which is currently at 2%. Which just wouldnt be right for our economy. Its one of Gordon Browns economic conditions which has to be met before we join the euro, so there is no chance of us joining in the immediate future.

Never really followed politics much.

All I know is that the BNP are idiots, the conservatives shouldn't get in and we should keep the pound.
