> Neighbours is popular in many other counties
With as much proporion to Friends?
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
So they're all signing contracts for 1 million dollars per show because of it's fleeting success?
Er.
No.

I find this hilariously hypocritical, in the same way I would love to know how you know it isn't, please tell...

Do I have to spell it out as well?
Neighbours is popular in many other counties, just your inferior knowledge leads you to thinking otherwise.
As I said though, grab me the facts that state otherwise.
Fool.

No it fecking hasn't.
In Australia - it's creating nation, and a nation which doesn't produce many, if any, high quality programmes - it is popular. Because it's the only show there with decency.
And besides - how do you know for a fact it's going strongly? Since when did you live in Australia?
Friends is a dominant success not only in America, but in many other countries.
Corrie is popular here because it is amongst the minority of mainstream prime time television.
As with Neighbours.
Please, try using some common sense for a change.

What?
Didn't you read what I put?
Neighbours has been going strongly and in the same way it is poor, so is Friends. Neighbours would have been booted of prime time BBC like Brookside was if it wasn't popular. Seeing as you seem to know such much about going strong, would you care to quote the facts of how many viewers Neighours receives?
C*ck a*se.

Oh and yes, down under Neighbours is huge, in the same way Coronation Street over here is.
Going strongly for 10 years.
Which Friends did.
And Neighbours et al isn't.
Neighbours has been running for 10 years and it wouldn't be high time BBC 1 if it wasn't proving successful; that is an example of a poorly written and for the most part acted program.
So either you have said the wrong thing or you are talking pish.
Neighbours? Go strongly?
Oh, sorry, forgot about the millions that they frequently rake in.
And our soaps?
They're massive successes in other countries, and accquire millions of viewers do they?
Oh, no. They don't.
You're all talking pizash.
